Pastoral Profits' business and breeding goals are classic. We don't breed according to fads and market swings but with a deep desire to produce an "ideal" alpaca with every breeding. The color of the alpaca doesn't matter to us as much as the quality and quantity of the fleece and the quality of the animal itself. We breed for animal soundness and reproductive ability (conformation, bite, testicular size, etc.) and fiber value. We also look to the head and to the sheer beauty and grace of the alpacas as they dance and meander in the pasture. It is our goal to be one of the best small farms for quality production animals, with exceptional genetics, on the North American continent; and to be able to sell these animals at reasonable prices. We're working to raise the bar and create a classically ideal herd with genetics that will help us all to grow and prosper.

Part of growing the industry as well as the animals is the importance of relationships. The importance of networking and relationship-building is embedded in our structure. Pastoral Profits, LLC is formed of friends, family and experienced alpaca breeders. It's part of the life-style we're carving out for ourselves and as important as any other aspect of our venture. We’re a small breeder offering full farm guarantees and service.
